My Regret for Leadership in Nigeria & Fear for 2023 Election = Primate Ositelu @ 70 exclusive

PENULTIMATE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 24th, 2022, His Holiness, The Most Reverend (Dr.) RUFUS OKIKIOLA OLUBIYI OSITELU (PhD), Pope of Church of The Lord, Aladura Worldwide clocked 70. He was born on Sunday, February 24, 1952 to the family of Prophet General and founder of Church of The Lord, Aladura, Prophet Josiah Olunowo Ositelu and Lady Agnes Ositelu.

He is the fourth Primate of the Great Church after the demise of his brother, Primate Gabriel Olusegun Ositelu who passed away in 1998 after leading the church for 7 years.

Gabriel Ositelu succeeded Emmanuel Owoade Adeleke Adejobi, a Great Prophet and first assistant to the pioneer Prophet founder and ruled for 24 years after the demise of the founder in 1966.

Under His Holiness, The Most Reverend (Dr.) Rufus Okikiola Olubiyi Ositelu (PhD), the church has witnessed tremendous transformation home and abroad, rising from a conservative number of four million worshipping congregants to over ten million members scattered all over the world.

Aladura in Yoruba means “Owners of Prayer” or “Prayer Fellowship” or “The Praying People”. They believe in the power and efficacy of prayer and faith healing. They are prophetic in doctrine and a little bit Pentecostal in worship.

In this rare encounter with Asabe Afrika TV inside his Ogere, Remo Ogun State, South West Nigeria secretariat in the early hours of Thursday, February 17, 2022, the Primate revealed the story of his early life sojourn in Germany and why he abandoned his well paying seven digits Computer Programming job in Germany (He has two PhD degrees in Computer Science and Religious Studies) to honor what he termed “an unforeseen calling” in Nigeria some twenty four years ago. His revelations about God, Church administration, Christian ethics and life at 70 is quite enlightening.

He equally shared his fear and consternation for leadership in Nigeria since 1960 and his worst fear for the incoming Year 2023 election.

  1. Daddy they're wicked, they're stupid selfish, even some of the educated ones among them are blind because of their own pocket. Imagine governors wives jumped on the plane to go and present birthday cake to aisha buhari in Dubai and millions are hungry in the country. Daddy pray and choose for Nigeria.

  2. For becoming a good president, one must have integrity, respect the rules of laws, must ignore nepotism, be well exposed or have knowledge of what’s going on in the world. At last he or she must hate greediness and selfishness!! Wow 😳 as of now and because of the above requirements, I only have very little hope for my place of birth. And I know only God can deliver the country 🙏🏾🙏🏾☘️❗️

  3. That is my problem with Osinbajo. The primate hit it on the head. If Tinubu allows him to run, Osinbajo will still be under his godfatherism leadership. But I believe that God will have the last word. The self centered mentality of Nigerian leaders has contributed to the backwardness. Imagine, Malaysia taking our product to their country and pushed it to the forefront becoming the number one leader. God help us.

  4. Aṣiwaju is not healthy but he is a good manager of resources. Faṣọla and Ọṣinbajo are better candidates in my opinion. Atiku, is too old. Peter Obi is ok, but Soludo claimed that he was a very very bad person in governance.

The former governor of Abia state Orji Kalu was a jailbird. How can an ex-convict be president?!🤷‍♂️
