My Sad Experience with IKEJA ELECTRIC officials over Pre-Paid Meter — Comrade Igiebor

In this new encounter, another Nigerian power consumer gave a detailed bit-by-bit experience of the bad business ethics and unscrupulous customer relation strategy of officials of one of Nigeria’s leading power distribution companies, IKEJA ELECTRIC.

Like our expose on Dele Orisabiyi Street, in Okota area of Lagos in our yesterday’s broadcast on this channel, and other fact-finding investigations from other communities published on this channel, Comrade Igiebor, an official of a power consumer advocacy group, All Electric Consumer Protection Forum (AECPC) narrated a tale of high-handedness by senior and junior officials of Ikeja Electric, Abule Taylor Undertaking office under the leadership of one FRED ODOGBO.

FRED ODOGBO was the cynosure of many bad reports on both radio and several social media platforms since April, 2020 due to several alleged acts by his men which are inimical to stipulated laws guiding the rules of engagement between consumers and service providers.

In this new narration by Comrade Sam Igiebor who is also a media practitioner, he revealed how his community and several other communities have faced several challenges in the hand of unethical officials of the Ikeja Electric Disco and why Government at all levels need to sanitize the power sector.

The illegal disconnection of his property by one ALHAJA NOIMOT OLOWU over complaint he made to the organization due to extortionist activities of some fraudulent staff, even after he has paid for Pre-paid meters triggered his measured reaction to this channel.

The interview was conducted on Thursday September 10, 2020 after several abortive efforts.
