Prophet Tibetan, Ex-Ogun 1st Lady N65.5 Million Land Scandal Latest; Truths & Half Truths Exposed

SINCE THE EARLY PART OF JUNE, Year 2023 when Sahara Reporters a leading online publication and other news medium like The Cable News, Church Times Online and Wo! Yoruba TV broke the story of a land deal gone sour between famous Nigerian clergy and Celestial Church of Christ, Elisha Parish Head, Prophet MKO Tibetan and a church member cum godson, one Mr. Timilehin David, the need to unveil facts that will consolidate the truth have become more expedient for many truth Sayers.

According to Timilehin, a real estate business man his relationship with that of the famous Celestial Church Prophet was that of a father and son as he took the Prophet as a spiritual guide.

Timilehin noted with deep pain that sometimes in the early part of Year 2022, Prophet Tibetan informed him of the availability of two hectares of land (30 Plots) supposedly in Lekki Ajah area of Lagos State, near the now unveiled Dangote Refinery, belonging to one Mrs. Omolara Akintonde an alleged former first lady of Ogun State and a new convert of Prophet Tibetan’s church.

The value of the controversial land was put at N2 Million Naira per plot with some additional costs, which puts the total money at N65.5 Million Naira.

After the young man showed interest in the land, Timilehin said Tibetan offered himself as a go-between for the transaction. He said he told the Prophet that he would need a lawyer to help him seal the deal given the huge amount involved, but the Prophet told him he would not be needing a lawyer since he is the one involved.

Timilehin said he was made to pay the N65.5 Million cost of the land to the Prophet to be transferred to Mrs. Akintonde. But a year after, Timilehin has not been allocated the land, neither did he receive a receipt of payment nor any document of the land.

Instead he has been involved in a back-and-forth conversation with Prophet Tibetan and Mrs. Akintonde.

“He has not denied collecting the money from me. The transaction evidence is there in the audio (several audio evidences). On the other hand, Akintonde has also not denied collecting money from Prophet Tibetan” Timilehin noted with great frustration.

Timilehin said he visited the land without Tibetan’s knowledge and discovered it was not what was described to him by the Prophet.

“The Prophet told me the 30 plots of land were close to the Dangote Refinery. But I have since discovered that the land is in the forest of Epe. It is largely an uncultivated land in the remote areas of Epe which can’t sell for more than a Million Naira per plot” Timilehin noted.

“The Prophet was furious when he got to know I went to check the land. It was like I have done something evil. That was after I had paid. I wonder why he was so annoyed that I went to check a land that I paid for. It was when I saw the land that I discovered it was not the land they told me about”

“Later the woman (Mrs. Akintonde) said the earlier price of N2 Million Naira per plot was a mistake, that the land actually cost N5 Million per plot. So, for the 30 plots of land, I may have to pay N150 Million. It was at this point I said I’m no longer interested in the land and they should refund me. Both the woman and the prophet have since blocked me on their phones”.

“The Woman was first to block me when I was disturbing her for the documents and other items of purchase. The Prophet blocked me recently after my lawyer discovered the fraud intention to sell a land allocated by the state government for strictly business operation and not private residence or other activities”

Timilehin continued “Before Mrs. Akintonde blocked my number, she asked me to go and meet the Prophet since it was the Prophet who collected money from me. I had to use a friend’s phone to reach her in order to put further pressure on her to return my money”

“At a point, the Prophet while trying to scare me off my legitimate right to demand, told me even if the woman agrees to refund me, what if she dies in the process, what would I do?. He had also made several insinuations of an impending doom. He told me one time that there are people who build mansions and never lived in them as they die off. When he was equally trying to discourage me from getting a lawyer, he asked if I have heard of cases of lawyers being killed or kidnapped while trying to execute dispute in land matters?”
