Though, he was
an eye-witness of the tragic devastation of Jerusalem,
Jeremiah
while lamenting the misfortune of his nation, still exuded a strong confidence
in God. He knew somewhere in his heart that God would one day restore His
people. He described God’s mercy and compassion as something that is renewed
daily for His children’s use (Lam. 3:19-26).

to bed feeling sad and limited, our spirits are enlivened when we wake up the
