The Atunda Years: Hard lessons life taught me in 7 Years of Stardom — Ara

ARA in Yoruba language means W-O-N-D-E-R!
But for ARALOLA OLUMUYIWA, the Iconic Nigerian female talking drummer and culture enthusiast, the unpredictable hand of evolution has sealed many experiences for her. She is not just an epitome of beauty and creativity, but a bundle of timeless experience.

ARA has seen it all, from expression to depression; from surplus to paucity, from the lowest rung to the zenith of stardom. However, her individuality remains unbreakable. She is a very enthusiastic and effervescent personality.

Aralola’s over three decades in the entertainment business industry is enough experience to make ‘a book of wonder’. As an iconic female talking drummer, ARA is also a culture ambassador.

The special envoy to the City of Miami Florida has been on our radar for over two years until a miracle happened recently.

After several disappointments, her team finally arranged a special encounter with Asabe Afrika TV penultimate Friday morning at the pool side of a three star hotel in Government Reservation Area of Ikeja, Lagos West Senatorial District.

Find out more as she open up to us for the first time, the trial-to-triumph story early life career at Atunda Entertainment.

It is a story every young artiste need to draw nuggets from.

  1. She is well brought up, apart from the dad being a Senior Manager in UBA,(GM2, most branch managers are either Officer 5,4,3,2 or 1,while GMs are Area managers ie 3-5 states, so few GMs), her mum is fully loaded.
It's just pure talent and passion. You are Cool Sheri,God bless you my sister.

  2. What I leant from all these lady’s experience is that parents especially mothers do not leave your children to their fate. “Omo eni ki Buru titi kawa junu”. God wants to take the Glory because when she dropped out of Ambrose Alli Univ. And went back to Atunda it’s not ordinary eye she was being remote controlled her parent should have known and prayerfully fight for her but thank God she’s alive to share her experience so that coming artist will learn from her. God bless you Ara.

  3. This Ara of woman has gotten good experience of what successful men and women in Nigeria are made of. I will encourage her to move closer to God by reading the BIBLE in and out to sharpen her spiritual gifts. She has a self discipline and gift of vision.

However, she must not rush to start a Church after reading the Bible in and out, because she will almost explode. More secret and audible words will come to her, but it is not enough to call herself a great woman of God lest she falls flat again.

Of a truth, she has a great destiny and there are many more ground for her to cover, tell her to explore the personality of Jesus Christ!

That is her next level to go, her past is not an hindrance. It God that will judge.
