The Atunda Years: Untold Story of my Early Life Experience — Ara

ARA in Yoruba language means W-O-N-D-E-R!
But for ARALOLA OLUMUYIWA, the Iconic Nigerian female talking drummer and culture enthusiast, the unpredictable hand of evolution has sealed many experiences for her.

She is not just an epitome of beauty and creativity, but a bundle of timeless experience.

ARA has seen it all, from expression to depression; from surplus to paucity, from the lowest rung to the zenith of stardom. However, her individuality remains unbreakable. She is a very enthusiastic and effervescent personality.

Aralola’s over three decades in the entertainment business industry is enough experience to make ‘a book of wonder’. As an iconic female talking drummer, ARA is equally a culture ambassador and former Culture Adviser to the Ooni of Ile-Ife.

The special envoy to the City of Miami Florida has been on our radar for over two years until a miracle happened recently. After several disappointments, her team finally arranged a special encounter with Asabe Afrika TV penultimate Friday morning at the pool side of a three star hotel at Ikeja G.R.A.

In this PART 1 of the exclusive, she opened up to us for the first time, the trial-to-triumph story of her early life career at Atunda Entertainment under Wanle Akinboboye.
It is a story every young artiste need to draw nuggets from.

  1. I just love the expressions of the woman.
    Her expressions in clothing styles
    Her expressions in facial beauty
    Her vocal expressions
    Etc.
Help me tell her she has a sweet sensational smiles 😃

Nevertheless, you have got the most important assets which no one can take away.

    Life, Name & Talent.

I wish you well beyond human comprehension "ARA"

  2. Her mum is really a disciplinarian,eh, don't try her, Alhaja is tough. Her dad, may his soul rest in peace, very easy going, but believed in Education, as a GM in UBA, he got me a job in the bank. Ara had everything, well, brought up with silver spoon I would say, but the parents never allowed that to get into the children's behavior.
Ara is a copy of her mum, who I cherish and would continue to love till eternity.
Funny though, we are from the same pot, Sunny Ade inclusive.
God bless you Ara, feel like hugging you. You are fantastic always.

  3. I feel so sad about what happened to her. She did not deserve to be treated that way. the Atunda man could not handle her being very successful.she would have been larger than Life. I pray that she will get even greater opportunities in life. And still have the chance to be on broadway and have her musical
