The Maureen Badejo’s GoFundMe, Sunday Ighoho & the Alayonusos

In this new Analytical Video, we X-rayed the great efforts of London based Nigerian born blogger, Madam MAUREEN BADEJO at using her brand of journalism to sanitize a very corrupt and money conscious Nigerian Church system and her recent fund raising effort for the Yoruba agitation of Oyo State born Activist cum politician, CHIEF SUNDAY ADEYEMO aka IGBOHO OOSA.

Her good efforts at raising a whooping £46 Thousand Pound sterling via GoFundMe platform couple of weeks back and the tirade of campaign of calumny against her person by Yoruba bloggers in UK and Ireland, as a result of alleged pressure from beneficiaries of her good effort led to the returning of the fund to givers early in the week after an online blacklash between her and Chief Igboho’s spokesman, Mr. Koiki Media.

A situation which might have reduced the steam and esteem of the Igboho Yoruba liberation struggle in the eyes of serious Yoruba intellectuals in Diaspora.

In this video, we took a look at the implication of such setback and warned that in this kind of struggle, descent discretion is needed by all parties.

We also appreciated the goodwill of Madam Maureen Badejo in exposing the rot in the Christian Church of today.

  1. 2. I thank God that we are being given a chance on these platforms, it's very unfortunate that it's the working class (uneducated) in our communities that had occurred the space. I appreciate the fact that we are given the opportunity but please the images portrayed is shameful and I pray that people can differentiate amongst us. Yoruba and the nation's image is very important. God bless yoruba nation.

  3. May Almighty God bless you richly in every area of your life. Thanks for this video. I was one of those that donated to the Gofundme and was surprised to receive a notification of a refund for my money. Sis Maureen doesn’t know me but I am always happy to support her causes because I can see honesty in her! For someone to be ungrateful for the kind of sums we are giving, is totally irresponsible!! My husband doesn’t watch sis Maureen but I also asked him to give money anonymously too – because of our people back home.

  4. We know she didn't Fraud, but God is actually giving her the dose of drug she used to give to others, she always come online to defame people without proper investigation based on what others tell her against her fellow men, without verifying from the Accused, she also should feel pains others feel when she lie against them, Karma is real.

  5. Unfortunate. A lot of mistakes were made. These are just teething problems. Every emancipation struggle goes through it. But the struggle continues. The South Africans won their struggle. The Irish won their struggle. The African Americans won their struggle. Yoruba will win this struggle.

  6. Hello Brother, that money you are talking about is nothing compare to what we have on ground, forget about maureen gofundme, you should always have it at the back of your mind and maureen herself should stop all this bullshit and lets move on, nobody is a begger here and tell maureen to stop all this ego.

  8. ASABA u this people always add to the problems instead of finding solution . Though they suppose to appreciate the 2.5m and expecting the GOFUNDME large amount maureen was holding . But why couldn't maureen send the 45000dollar they contributed before 2.5m . Asaba u always support one side that's why i stop watching u for a while

  9. 11. I support yoruba but they must change pattern, Everything is not yoruba language, this ppl need to be educated or enlighten to know that everything is not supposed to be yoruba language, this agitation is supposed to be english so that the whole world will hear and know what they are talking about, agitating on yoruba language is a mess and mistake, let them learn from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who knows how to do it best, because United Nations is supposed to be aware and all world powers including U.S.A and UK even if they are saboteurs, insisting with yoruba language on agitation is disgusting and a big mess, let them learn from intelectuals who knows how to do it best, all this mess they are doing must end up in their circle and can not go any where as that has been yoruba life long time ago, gra gra..
