Jesus gave an outstanding promise to Mary. He said the good thing she had
found at His feet would never be taken from her. She henceforth would occupy the land of no loss where gain is guaranteed and surplus is standard.

Our God, on
the other hand, is not uncertain. He is a God of no loss! He “returns and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him even a meat offering and a drink
offering..” (Joel 2:14) because He “wishes
above all things that we prosper and be in
health even as our soul prospers” (3 John 2). While the devil comes to “steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10a) Jesus comes “that they (His church) might have life, and
that they might have it more abundantly”, (John 10:10b)

Ephesian 5:16-18 warn believers to “redeem the time because the days are evil
(and) be not unwise but understand what
the will of the Lord is (by) being not drunk with wine, wherein is excess but
(by) being filled with the Spirit”

This is not
a time for careless confidence but careful and circumspect commitment to the
Lord. Lot’s wife looked back in a
moment of despair and disappointment and became a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26).
Luke 17:32 warns end time believers
to beware of that same spirit of distraction. This time is not a time for
abysmal failings of focus but a time to be circumspect and, by so doing, redeem
the times.

Loss by Loose Living…

Dr. Tobe Momah MD. ‘Many believers are living on the fringes of their real fountain’ |
Many
believers are living a substituted life. They are walking on the fringes of
where they could have been, or what they could have had, because they did not
stay in tune with God. Rather than obey unconditionally, they embellished God’s
instructions and juxtaposed the details of His commission. For example, in 1st Kings 20:39-40 a prophet in Israel told King Ahab how a man who had been committed into his hands for safe
keeping had been lost. He said “as thy
servant was busy here and there, he
was gone. And the King of Israel said
unto him, so shall thy judgement be,
thyself hast decided it” (1st
King 20:40)

Dr. Tobe Momah…’In the work of faith, you cannot be here or there’ |
You can’t be
busy here and there, like the prophet was, and ignore the assignment of God for
your life. If you do, you will suffer unmitigated loss. Success in life is
discovering God’s will for your life, and doing it not ignoring it.

your life. If you do, you will suffer unmitigated loss. Success in life is
discovering God’s will for your life, and doing it not ignoring it.
You win, not
by standing alone, but by first sitting! Jesus said “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first,
and counteth the cost, whether he
have sufficient to finish it? Or what king, going to make war against another
king, sitteth not down first, and
consulteth wether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against
him with twenty thousand?” (Luke 14:28, 31).

The power of winning is in first
sitting! It propels
you from being a mere prognosticator of divine victory. You can win everytime
and become so great, that even your enemies become intimidated by you, if you
first sit at His feet. When you locate and live in the perfect will of God for
your life, and not the permissive of practical will, you become untouchable.
God becomes your defense and your enemies shrivel.

In Genesis 26:22, Isaac called the last well he dug “Reheboth”, meaning large
or broad place because “now, the Lord
hath made room for (us) and (we) shall be fruitful in the land”. It took Isaac hitting a broad river to
consolidate his gains in the land and spare him from further loss (Genesis
26:28-30). Until believers hit that broad river of the Holy Spirit (as spoken
of in John 7:37), we remain in the land of loss.

Dr. Tobe Momah, MD, explaining a point to the GDA |
I had some
of my most remarkable experiences during my courtship years to my present wife
(Rita). On one occasion, I had approached the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM) International—Dr. D.K. Olukoya—to
intimate him about my plans for a choice of wife. I introduced them to each
other, and as soon as my wife-to-be and I sat down, he started prophesying.
Though he had never met my wife-to-be, he spoke over her as though he had known
her forever. When he laid his hand on her, she fell to the floor in deep
spiritual sleep. While she laid down in total oblivion to her surroundings, Dr.
Olukoya
turned to me and sternly warned about several challenges our marriage would
face. He then asked me if I was ready to face the challenges head-on?

After some
contemplation, I answered in the affirmative. In the spiritual realm, I knew
the die was cast. Whatever battles my wife faced had become my battles and
whoever her enemies were, had become my enemies.

Dr. Olukoya and his wife prayed for us and
advised us to handle our marriage with lots of prayer. He said, without mincing
words, that the only solution to the contrary and demonic forces ahead of our
marriage and our lives as a couple, was to be strong in prayer and prevail
intercession.

Back of the Book |
Fifteen
years later, after that prophecy, my wife and I lead a dedicated group of
intercessors who meet on a monthly basis to pray all nights for the miraculous
and against the so-called impossibilities of life. As a result of that program
called Holy Ghost Night, homes have
been restored, cancers healed and revival birthed in ministries and cities
around the world. Our journey has been tough; but through prayer, and our faith
in the name of Jesus, God has, and
will, continue to give us victory. As Elder John said in 1 John 5:4, “this is the
victory that overcometh the world,
even our faith”.
