EVANGELIST TUNDE OLOMOLA aka BABA ARA II is the younger brother to late Music Icon and Composer extraordinary, ROLAND OLUBUKOLA OLOMOLA who passed away on August 31st, Year 2004 at young age of 42.
He was born on Monday the 2nd of July Year 1962 and died on Tuesday August 31st, Year 2004 at the age of 42.
His death was laced with several controversies as many rumored that he took ill from a burst of the cocaine sachet that he had ingested and with which he was planning to travel out of the country.
Others rumored that he was a victim of envy from an elderly relation whom Baba Ara started singing from his church in Ogun State. It was said that since he decided to dump the brother’s church choir to start a solo career, he was attacked spiritually till he passed away.
He was buried at his King David Sanctum, GRA Road, Sagamu, Ogun State home amidst wailings and crying by family members, friends, associates and sympathizers alike.
Since his demise, his younger brother, OLATUNDE OLOMOLA took the mantle of leadership of Roland Olubukola Olomola’s musical ministry and led from there.
