Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has praised the
Uplift Under -15 Football Team
initiator, Mrs Olufunso Amosun for discovering Akpan Udok the goalkeeper for
the Under-17 Golden Eaglet who made the country proud at the just concluded
FiFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile. He
lauded the brain behind the Uplift Under-15 football team for discovering
talents in young people encouraging her not to relent in her efforts but to do
more by discovering their potentials and put it to effective use.

Udok and members of the Uplift Football team at the Conference Hall of the
Office of the Wife of the Governor of Ogun State in Abeokuta, Senator Amosun
who paid them a surprise visit commended Udok and other members of the Eaglet
team for the brilliant performance they put up to win the trophy for Nigeria.
