How Eko Electricity EKDC’s negligence (livewire) led to 18 years boy’s death in Lagos

During a recent visitation to Alhaja Hasana Street, Orile Aguda in Surulere area of Lagos South West Nigeria, Asabe Afrika TV team found a cream of disgruntled human right activists which include All Electricity Consumer Protection Forum, Committee for the Defense of Human Right (CDHR) and a legion of concerned citizens from Osho Aloko Comumunity who revealed how professional negligence on the part of Eko Electric Power Distribution Company (EKDC) through the hush action of their lines men led to the death of an 18 years old boy, TAOFEEK ADEWUNMI on Monday, June 29th, year 2020.

Almost a year after the sad event, management of EKDC appeared to be in a stalemate with the family after all diplomatic intervention failed on what to be paid to the family as compensation for the lost of a budding male child.
