TEMIYEMI OLADEMO is a famous local restaurateur in Ode Irele, Ondo State, South Western Nigeria.
She is famously known and addressed as POTATO across the rich town of Ode-Irele and the reason is not far-fetched as her hard working and innovative way of frying potatoes when she arrived the town from Edo State earned her the nomenclature before she went into full scale restaurant business.
Last Year, Thursday December 22, Year 2022 while the leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye led a 3 Days ‘Let’s Go Fishing’ Crusade to Ode-Aye, Temiyemi Olademo escaped death by whiskers and in a most miraculous way that it is still the talk of the town till date.
She was doing business in her shop when a reckless Sienna Car driver ran into her make-shit restaurant just few seconds after she stood up and went out to ease herself.
She was not the only lucky person that escaped the sudden death as her two sons, customers and a fowl also escaped the unimagined tragedy leaving her food and other utensils to suffer the casualty as the entire shop was wrecked down.
On Thursday March 30th, Year 2023 (Market Day) while on a Special Visit to Ode-Irele, Olademo aka Potato shared her lucky escape story with Asabe Afrika TV.
Not her voice alone was heard, that of her lovers, customers and other eye witnesses was equally heard as they shared in her testimony.
