The Internally Displaced Person’s community in Borno State (North Eastern Nigeria) got a desired relief from the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government of Nigeria recently, when the Honorable Minister for Humanitarian Affairs under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, HAJIYA SADIYA UMAR FAROUK paid them an un-scheduled visit where she gave them several relief materials to cushion the effect of the pain.
Her arrival barely 72 hours after the outbreak is seen as a remarkable act of compassion to the highly traumatized citizens.
She was welcomed by the very articulate and hard working Governor of the state, His Excellency, PROFESSOR BABAGANA UMARA ZULUM.
