The National Women Leader of the All
Progressive Congress (APC) Hajiya (Dr.) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has
called on her lovers across the country who misconstrued the appointment of one Hajiya
Rahimatu Aliyu as Executive
Director of Federal Mortgage Bank of
Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari as her appointment to shelve such
perception as she is not the person on the new appointment.

The name Rahimatu Aliyu and Ramatu
Aliyu seems to sound alike, hence many of her admirers across the
country and abroad mistook the appointment for hers and began to call in to
congratulate her. But the very dynamic and pragmatic national women leader of
the ruling party expressed her gratitude to those who mistook the appointment
of Hajiya
Rahimatu Aliyu as hers and equally corrected the wide held opinion that
the she was the one appointed by President Buhari as Executive Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.

In a press release signed by her today in Abuja and made available to Asabeafrika.com, Hajiya (Dr.) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu who is equally the President of the Council of African Political Parties
(Women Wing) thanked her lovers and admirers across Nigeria and all over the world, explaining further that even though
their good wishes is highly appreciated by her, the appointment was never for
her.

attention has been drawn to the recent appointments by our President, the
Commander in Chief of the Armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari, in which a
certain Hajiya Rahimatu Aliyu was
appointed as an Executive Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.

In as much as I appreciate the relentless and

clarify that I am Hajiya Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, not the Hajiya Rahimatu Aliyu in the said
publication. Given the enormity of the goodwill from Nigerians within and
outside the country and across all walks of life, it has become imperative to
set the record straight.
