THE ROYAL FAMILY OF HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, OBA (DR.) AUGUSTINE BOLA ADEGUNLOYE (Egbeji Oloogun of Nigeria) and 4th Banmoshen Okesariwo of Ondo Kingdom gave their father a grand funeral and celebration of Life well spent in the month of September in Lagos and Ondo State (South Western Nigeria).
The event which started with series of Special Prayer activities in Lagos, Ogun and Ondo State respectively dovetailed into other activities that enabled dignitaries from all walks of life to converge at the beautiful home of the great icon to give him last honor and ceremonies.
Life & Times of the Egbeji Oloogun of Nigeria:
Born and Christened BAMBOLA AUGUSTINE MORAKINYO in August of Year 1945 in Fagbo town, Ondo East LGA, Western Nigeria, he grew to become a great medicine man and seer for the entire nation. The Great Icon and Symbol of Traditional Medicine started his Primary Education at St. Mary Primary School, Fagbo in 1957 before moving to St. Gregory Secondary School, Fagbo for his secondary education in 1961. In 1966, the very young Bambola Adegunloye moved to United Trade School (UTS) Sapele, Old Bendel State (Now known as Sapele Technical College) Delta State for his technical education).
He will later join the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) where he trained as an officer at the Nigeria Police College, Ikeja Lagos in 1970. After years of service in the Police Force and due to his divine call to medical healing, he enrolled at Pageatic Science School, India between 1980 and 1983 where he studied Science of Voodoo.
He equally had a stint with Ayuu Vedic University in India where he studied Cabalistic Science in 1985.
In his decision to become a complete medicine expert and add local knowledge to his education, the young and energetic Bambola attended Lagos State College of Traditional Medicine on his return from India.
Aside his vast knowledge in traditional medicine, HRH Bambola Augustine Morakinyo started his early life as a transmitting officer at the Nigerian Broad. casting Corporation, Ibadan Oyo State (Western Nigeria) between 1967 and 1968. He will later join the Nigeria Police Force as a full rank inspector and worked among other operations; MOPOL 6, Enugu, FCID Alagbon Lagos, Inspector D3 Panti and as a Criminal Investigative Detective (CID) Yaba.
