Sunday Igboho & Yoruba Nation: Why Pa Ayo Adebanjo, others are paying lip service = Chief Arogundade

CHIEF RASAK AROGUNDADE aka SADDAM is the President and Founder, ODUA PEOPLE’S CONGRESS, NEW ERA.

To many who know him, he is the enfant-terrible as his name S-a-d-d-a-m drives fear and confusion into the minds of people, especially criminal elements in the society and around the Yoruba states of South Western Nigeria.

Chief Rasak Arogundade’s OPC faction broke away from Otunba Gani Adams’ faction on March 16, 2015 at the heat of the controversial 2015 election which pitched All People’s Congress candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari against the incumbent President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of People’s Democratic Party.

It was a tensed political period in the history of Nigeria as Otunba Gani Adams was glaringly supporting President Jonathan and even went to the extent of organizing a “Jega must go” protest in Lagos, which led to the destruction of public utilities and campaign bill boards on March 15, 2015 few days to the Presidential election.

It was at this junction, CHIEF AROGUNDADE and few other strong lieutenants left the old OPC to start the New Era brand and since then, they have been waxing stronger with their tentacles spreading across.

Arogundade and Gani Adams are offspring of late Frederick Faseun’s OPC as Arogundade famously called SADDAM was the Chief Security Commandant of the militia Group.

In this new exclusive Wednesday 17th November, the highly talented traditional security expert spoke on the Yoruba Nation struggle and why some elders like Pa Ayo Adebanjo are paying lip service.

He equally spoke on reason why Gani Adams’ OPC boys were punished for arresting the terror herdsman Wakili in Oke Ogun area of Oyo state in March 2021.

  1. Well done Asabe Gbenga for the improvement in your conducts with your guest during the interview.
In the area of your references , always strive to mark your areas of references in the journals (or newspapers) you're to use as to reflect more professionalism in this career.
    Once again, kudos to you.

  2. Yoruba nation is not going to happen, not in this century. Why?
    1. The agitators are relying too much on the alale (ancestors) to get it for them.

Where does that happen? When nigeria got independence from colonial masters. it was through struggle and not through alale.

    2. The alale listen to traditional rulers who didn't seem to subscribe to yoruba nation , they control them.

    3. Their efforts will start to yield results when they stop asking the alale to help them and turn their request to the True Living God.

  3. If chief Arogundade gets the chance to lead yorubas in any top flight office, he will perform. He's not proud, lies, calming and transparent, hard working with human feeling contrary to the other talkative man who bragged millions of warriors without any positive impact in yoruba land. Aare of his own household who can sell yoruba race easily to make money!!!

  4. How long will it take Yoruba elders to realize that there will be no restructuring; that it will not be allowed under any circumstances? Why, at this stage of Nigeria's existence, do they think there will be restructuring? Obasanjo is hoping PDP will win the 2023 election so that he can begin to make money again by influencing the election to favor a PDP candidate. That's all. If not, why are they telling us to wait till 3015 before we get universal constant supply of electricity taking cognizance of the fact things have already completely fallen apart today. I wonder what their campaign promises will be for 2023. They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result. If election promises have remained the same for 61 years (while conditions get worse each passing year), what makes any right thinking person believe that things are going to change in 2023, knowing that it is still the same set of recycled men are at the wheels, making the same old empty promises again and again. Nigerians need to wake up and call a spade a spade. Yorubas need to wake up. Forget Obasanjo and his ilk. Forward with Yoruba Nation, and push those dead beats to the curb. Ten thousand Obasanjos cannot stand against the wish of millions of Yorubas.
