Sunday Sermon: Ewu ton be ninu Salary (Saa La Rii) Part 2

Prophet (Dr.) MKO Tibetan, CCC, Elisha Parish (Europe & Nigeria)

Today, we
continue with our topic on the evil of waiting on paid wages or salary—Ewu ton be ninu Salary (Saa la rii). We
appreciate those who called through our Nigerian
and Dublin telephones during the week
to make specific inquiries on our prediction books and other spiritual related
matters. It is nice sharing your experience with God through his friend—the
Prophet.

The topic Ewu ton be ninu salary has generated
attention among our people, especially the Yoruba
speaking community in Nigeria and
around the world. The purpose of the sermon can never be farfetched from the
reality of our people in the South Western Parts of Nigeria, and more especially at this very time when the economy of
that part of the country is witnessing her worst season of recession.

The Choice is yours to take

For a very
long time, our people have submitted their destinies to the dictates of civil
service schemes and white collar jobs, thereby abandoning the first enterprise God gave mankind which is the land—farming.
Now, we are at a cross road, we can’t even feed ourselves without contribution
from our northern brothers, we can hardly generate what we eat because salary
has failed the adult generation in this season of starvation.
The book of Genesis Chapter 26 from verse 1 to 15 said, “There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was
in the days of Abraham (Gen 12:10).
And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philippines, in Gerar”.

Prophet MKO Tibetan….’There will always be a famine but God’s land is always fertile’

It happened to Isaac in his own time just
like it is happening to our Yoruba brothers
now, if we don’t get Yam, beans, rice, tomatoes, onions
and other consumables from the North, we cannot eat. We have to wait for their
trailers to berth at Mile 12 or Ile-Epo markets in Lagos before we can eat. Why, because we are all victims of the
dangers of salary culture. I don’t know what Eighteen Thousand Naira
minimum wage can buy in the market for a family of six (Dad, Mum & 4 kids
at least) for an entire month. I think we can even call it ‘minimum bondage’ because it keeps you in the service for the day
of punishment—pension. No wonder the Nigerian Civil Service is now a haven of
corruption, with all sorts of corrupt practices ranging from files delay to
cheque manipulations down to chronic looting of commonwealth. Why? Ewu ton be ninu salary (Saa la rii).

Worshipers at one of CCC, Elisha Parishes in Nigeria

In verse 2
of Genesis 26, the Lord appeared to Isaac and warned him not to go down to Egypt like his father did (Gen. 12:
10-19) in search of his daily bread but to dwell within the land He the Lord
provided for him. In verse 3, the Lord said “Dwell
in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for you and your
descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore
to Abraham your father”
. In verse 12, the Bible made us know that “Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the
same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him”.
Verse 13 and 14
confirmed his prosperity from farming and live stock business and not from
salary earnings. Hear what happened to Isaac
when he tilled the soil according to the Bible “The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became
very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and
a great number of servants. So the philistines envied him”
Remember the
book of Proverbs chapter 12 verses 11
“He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread, but he who
follows frivolity is devoid of
understanding”.
So, Isaac shunned frivolities and
tilled the land and the Bible made us to know that he prospered until people
began to envy him because of his immeasurable wealth.

Congregants listening to Prophet MKO Tibetan

Who will envy you when you keep queuing to
receive an elusive pension from hard hearted state governors in Nigeria? Who will envy an adult
generation who keep falling and dying on the queue because they want to collect
their pension? Salary culture has failed Nigeria
and the black race while farming and tiling of the soil has blessed many other
nations but Nigerians will never learn. The Yoruba
nation will continue to rely on northern cows, northern tomatoes, northern
rice, northern beans and even northern air to breath, if care is not taken.

Prophet Tibetan’s 2017 Prediction Book

The ability
to make it in life is in you (your brain) and not the salary you get from the
government or your establishment. Just this past week, we heard how some
pensioners in Osun state of Nigeria were cursing the governor, Rauf Aregbesola for putting them in bad
shape, by withholding their pension for 12 months or there about even after the
Federal government has released the fund. Why? Ewu n be ninu salary—there is danger in salary. The power to be
your own boss and change your destiny is in you.
In Kogi State, northern Nigeria, it is
still the same story of no salary for 12 months and you wonder why is everyone
rushing into the civil service for a later life of shock and disappointment?

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu….The Most Popular Nigerian Politician?

The book of
Proverbs chapter 2 verses 2-4 says “So
that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding.
Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding,
if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasure; then you
will understand the fear of the Lord”
When people
are hungry the fear of the Lord vanishes in their heart. The book of Proverbs 3:13 says “Happy is the man who finds wisdom; and the man who gains
understanding”
and verse 11 & 12 of Proverbs 2 equally says “Discretion will preserve you; understanding
will keep you, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse
things and from those who leave the path of uprightness”
Who are those who
left the path of righteousness and busy following evil path?

Nigeria’s Senate President Bukola Saraki

Are they not our
crop of politicians in Nigeria? Why will Tinubu
and his family want to run the affairs of
Lagos
forever to the extent of foisting candidates on the electorate even
to the level of councilors? Why will Saraki
and his family want to pocket Kwara
State forever and keep the destiny of the people of the state inside his Agbada? What sort of governance is that?
And you say you are liberated with democracy? You find out that you just began
an intro-societal slavery.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11 says “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord,
thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”
But
today, what is the thought of Osun
state governor towards the citizen? What is the thought of Tinubu towards the Yoruba
nation? What is the thought of Ooni of
Ife
and other Yoruba Obas towards
the Yoruba nation? What is the thought of
Saraki
towards Nigerians? Can we
call them thoughts that will give a future and hope to the masses?

The Ooni of Ile-Ife, HRM Oba Babatunde Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi (Ojaja II)….He lost his phone at a social gathering in Nigeria

If the Ooni can even lost his phone set at a
wedding party, you now wonder what kind of Yoruba Obas are we breeding?

Can the
thought of one politician who purchased a private jet of $60 million dollars
worth in a season of recession, when country men are finding it hard to eat be
called a thought that will give a future and a hope? Who cursed Nigerians with all these funny
characters who parade as leaders?
The above
scriptural verses are only pointing to one thing—the greatness to be successful
lies in you and not in Atiku Abubakar,
Tinubu, Saraki, Buhari or Osinbajo.
You don’t need to start following Saraki,
Atiku, Ooni or Tinubu around before you can eat. It is wrong because God
himself says it is wrong. The aforementioned scriptural verses make it known
that God has already programmed all what you in you to be successful.

Nigeria’s Richest Pastor, Bishop David Oyedepo with ex-President Goodluck Jonathan

But
today, the politicians and the clergy have only come to confuse you.  Enoch Adeboye
has confused you with his several schemes on Kilometer 46, Lagos-Ibadan Express Road and David
Oyedepo
is doing same on Kilometer 10 Lagos-Idiroko
road while Lazarus Mouka is tying
more people to the apron of poverty along Oshodi-Apapa
express way. You have to jump in and out of their numerous crusades before you
can be filled with hope to succeed but God is saying to you that “My thought towards you is thought of peace
and not of evil”
. So why should Adeboye and Co take your peace away on
Lagos-Ibadan express road?

Jacob, Laban & Salary…

Prophet MKO Tibetan tells the story of Jacob and Laban to buttress his point on the danger of salary

Let us go
back to the Bible and see how one man nearly lost his heritage to wages and
almost lost his future. In the book of Genesis
chapter 27
from verse 30-40, we
saw how the dirty politics between Esau
and Jacob took place courtesy their
mother Rebecca’s scheme. Jacob took away Esau’s blessings by trick and Esau
vowed to kill Jacob and that led Jacob’s escape to Laban, his mother’s brother who lived in a far city called Padan Aram. His mother had hinted him
about Esau’s plan to kill him over his 419 act.
In Gen. 29 from verse 15, Laban scheduled Jacob for his new wages after he resumed in his house-hold, hear
him “Then Laban said to Jacob, “Because
you are
my relative, should you
therefore serve me for nothing?” Tell me, what
should your wages be?
Laban intentionally set Jacob on a false spree because he knew
well that he will surely cheat him in the end.

The Church’s altar in session

But because Laban had two beautiful daughters which is Leah the elder and Rachel
the younger and Jacob loved Rachael because
of her beauty. She was the first girl he met who welcomed him to town when he
entered Padan Aram (Genesis 29 verses
9-13). In fact she was the one who first informed her father about Jacob’s presence in town, so Jacob loved her and he said in verse 18 of Genesis 29 “I will serve you seven years for Rachael your younger daughter”. Now, look at how dubious Laban’s plan took. Laban
is a good example of an average Nigerian
boss who employs you on the high street of
Lagos
and slaves you with peanut that can never fetch you freedom in
hundred years. In verse 19, Laban answered Jacob by saying

Prophet MKO Tibetan the Nostradamus

“It is better
that I give her to you than than I give her to another man. Stay with me”

and that was the beginning of the dangerous tides of salary. The story of the
dangers inherent in salary started from Genesis 29.

The Bible
said the seven years seemed like few days to Jacob because he so much loved
Rachel and he wanted to have her at all cost. But what happened at the end—Saa la rii!.
The Abracadabra of Laban…

Prophet MKO Tibetan, CCC, Elisha Parish (Europe & Nigeria)

In verse 21,
Jacob said to Laban Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled,
that I may go into her”
. But what did this man do? He gathered all the men
in the city for a big feast; just like our politician feast us on false
promises with very minimal result.
 In verses
24 and 26
, Laban played the trick
on Jacob. In those days, the bride is
brought with a veil on her face into a room in the evening, after the feast,
where the groom goes in and makes love to her. When Jacob went in and entered her, he discovered he had been duped by
nobody else than his uncle turned father-in-law.
Jesus said
in the book of Mathew 10 verses 36
that “A man’s foes shall be they of his own household”. So, Jacob was
furious and he asked the old man “What is
this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served you? Why then
have you deceived me?”
(Verse 25) and Laban answered him deceitfully “It must not be done in our land, to give
the younger before the first born”
. He added a clincher “Fulfill her week and we will give you this
one also for the service which you will serve with me still for another seven
years”.

It is Hard Choice to chose a salary life

So Jacob had
to serve Laban for another seven
years to earn two daughters off him. You could see that even Jacob might not have planned to have two
wives but Laban’s tricks changed his
destiny.
In Genesis
30 from verse 25, Jacob was tired of
serving Laban, having been duped
twice. He wanted his life back and he said ‘Sir,
send me away that I may go to my
own
place and to my country
. Give me my
wives and my children for whom I have
served
you and let me go, for you know my service which I have done for you”.
Does that
correlate with what happens between employers and employees in Nigeria? After
serving him for 8 to 10 years or more, he is not ready to release you and if he
must release you, it is with cruelty and fraud—he might deny you your severance
package and wages.
So, how Jacob
did escaped the onslaught from Laban.
In verse 27 & 28, Laban said “Please stay; if I have found favor in your
eyes, for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your
sake. Name your wages”.
But because
Jacob can now understand the tricks of his father-in-law after serving him for
15 years, he decided to use his ingenuity to liberate himself. He went into an
animal husbandry concept with Laban
by seeking his permission to separate all the speckled and spotted sheep
including brown lambs and all the speckled and spotted goats from the numerous
herds he was raising for him as his wages. In verse 33 & 34, Jacob said ‘Sir, my righteousness will answer for me in
time to come; when the subject of my wages come before you, every one that is
not speckled and spotted among the goats and brown among the lambs, will be
considered stolen, if it is with me”
. And Laban quickly conceded to the arrangement because he never knew
Jacob’s ingenuity was at work.

The Church in Nigeria

Laban thought he was wise because he
quickly removed all the speckled, spotted goats and sheep and brown lambs and
gave to his sons, returning only white ones to Jacob. If you read from verse 37-43, you will see the how Jacob
out-smarted his father-in-law and became so rich in flocks.
Verse 37-43 of Genesis 30 will tell you much of Jacob’s
ingenuity in the face of a terrible salary culture which nearly turned him to a
destitute. So in Chapter 31, Laban’s sons began to envy Jacob and
that was when Jacob decided to take a run from Laban’s slavery after 21 years of salary-slavery. It was then he
got his freedom and built his own kingdom.
You can be great by being creative. Salary
will take you nowhere than penury and misery—Ewu n be ninu salary!
