Jemibewon, a former Police Affairs Minister under President Olusegun Obasanjo’s civilian regime revealed for the first time how President Obasanjo nearly appointed him as his Chief of Staff in 1999.

The Iyah-Gbede, Kogi State born Army top brass and former Adjutant General of the Nigerian Army who is reputed to be the minister who revived and institutionalized the Police Service Commission (PSC) during his regime revealed some of the finest moments with the Owu, Abeokuta born Army General who turned 84 on Friday, March 5th of Year 2021.

  1. Gen.Jemibewon is a very great person and leader of repute.
    In 1959, he helped our primary school scout club to build our tent and gave us food With his troops assistance to us , we came first in the junior scout category. . He was the Offa Grammar School troop leader and his troop won the competition . He rendered us a song "IRU LOKU KI O DI OBO" meaning " it is only a tail you need to turn to a monkey). You did this for us in 1959, I take this opportunity to thank you once again. Hey Haa.
