In this red exclusive with Asabe Afrika TV inside his Asokoro, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja home, retired Major General DAVID MEDAYESE JEMIBEWON (CFR, Mni) an elder statesman and former Governor of Old Western State of Nigeria under late General Murthala Mohammed’s regime between August 1975 and March 1976, and first Military Administrator of old Oyo State under General Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) from 1976 to 1979 spoke on recent events between killer herdsmen and aborigenes in Oke-Ogun and Ibarapa area of Oyo state, including other parts of South Western Nigeria.

Jemibewon, a former Police Affairs Minister under President Olusegun Obasanjo’s civilian regime gave insight into some of the problems affecting the country and why some Southern State Governors are faltering in their duties.

The Iyah-Gbede, Kogi State born former Adjutant General of the Nigerian Army who is reputed to be the minister who revived and institutionalized the Police Service Commission (PSC) during his tenure equally spoke on the solo efforts of Yoruba Activist, CHIEF SUNDAY ADEYEMO aka IGBOHO and others.

The University of Lagos trained lawyer finally spoke on the role and purpose of ‘SECURITY VOTES’ as it relates to Governor’s budgets during his era as a Military Administrator.
