DAVID AKINBAMINI, a hardworking Nigerian born Uber driver closed from work in the evening of Friday, May 28, 2021 only to fall victim of a reckless Okada motor cycle driver some few meters to his house.
The hit and run Okada cyclist who was probably drunk left allegedly left a regular lane to go hit Mr. Akinbamini on his lane thereby hitting him to the ground.
He immediately kicked up his motor cycle and ran away after realizing the cost of his action, leaving the poor Akinbamini to face the trauma of the accident alone.
Akinbamini later learnt he couldn’t properly walk again but still managed to visit a hospital, took few drugs and continued his job until the pain got worse.
Visit to Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital in Lagos after several tests revealed that Akinbamini’s left femular (leg and hip ball joint) has been damaged and he will be needing a sum of N2 Million to have a corrective surgery.
Right now, the gentle man who is also a victim of a terrific economy needs merciful help from kind hearted people home and abroad.
He pleaded his cause in this short video.
