Real Reason Gani Adams fell out with Tinubu — Ex-Ally, Chief Saddam

CHIEF RASAK AROGUNDADE aka SADDAM is the President and Founder, ODUA PEOPLE’S CONGRESS, NEW ERA. To many who know him, he is the enfant-terrible as his name S-a-d-d-a-m drives fear and confusion into the minds of people, especially criminal elements in the society.

Chief Rasak Arogundade’s OPC faction broke away from Otunba Gani Adams’ faction on March 16, 2015 at the heat of the controversial 2015 election which pitched All People’s Congress candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari against the incumbent President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

It was a tensed political period in the history of Nigeria as Otunba Gani Adams was glaringly supporting incumbent President Jonathan and even went to the extent of organizing a ‘Jega must go’ protest in Lagos, which led to the destruction of public utilities and campaign bill boards on March 15, 2015 few days to the Presidential election.

It was at this junction, Chief Arogundade and few other strong lieutenants left the old OPC on March 16, 2015 to start the New Era brand and since then, they have been waxing stronger.

Arogundade and Gani Adams are offspring of late Chief Frederick Faseun’s OPC as Arogundade famously called SADDAM was the Chief Security Commandant of the militia Group.

In this new exclusive, he spoke on the reason why Gani Adams whom he described as a very greedy leader broke up with APC national leader, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other secrets you don’t know about Gani Adams.

  1. But the truth must be told, we all know that Jonathan was rigged out through Obama sponsored campaign slogan like change by APC. Tinubu was promised presidency in 2023. Gani Adams actions in 2015 has been justified by the current situation of Buhari and APC Government. Yoruba leaders betrayed Jonathan after collecting 25 billion naira from Jonathan to support him. All this nonsense coined interview from this man is baseless and inaccurate.

  2. The monsters you created thugishly buffooned you all. Whether OBJ, Gani Adams, Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode, Sanwa Olu or the disgraced quack Oba of Lagos Akiolu. It's crazy just knowing that Lagos state has become a dumpster for crooks, money laundrers, embezzlers and hustlers. It's a dawn shame.

  3. I feel the interview is unnecessary, however, i understand people pay journalists to get opportunity to promote themselves. "your best friend can be your worst enemy …he knows your secrets" Everyone has a past, including the journalist interviewing people, I think if one wants a platform to be relevant, you don't have to put those who are ahead of you down because the same fate, if not worse awaits you when you become prominent. It has always been this issue in South West. Why don't people criticise or advise against actions of people in position when around or close to them. Years down the line, time to destroy others reputation. People should do away with the idea of, "to rise up, you have to bring somebody down". It seems to be the norm these days. It will not help any good cause.
