In his first no-holds-barred encounter with Asabe Afrika TV inside his Aso Rock Villa, Abuja-Nigeria (West Africa) office on Friday, January 31st, 2020, MR. FEMI ADESINA, the Special Adviser, Media & Publicity to Nigeria’s President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI (GCFR) gave insights into some of the issues ragging between him and the Christian Association of Nigeria (C.A.N) over the leadership style of his principal.
In the last couple of weeks, especially after the gruesome killing of Pastor Lawan Andimi, the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Michika LGA, Adamawa State, North Eastern Nigeria on the 20th of January, there have been pockets of criticism from both Christian Association of Nigeria, Nigeria Christian Graduate Fellowship (NNGF) among other organizations against the way and manner the Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari is handling the security crisis in the country.
Among their ills with the government of the day is the allegation that the killing up north of Nigeria have been targeted more against the Christian community and that Mr. Adesina as a Christian is taking side with his boss over what is largely seen by the critics as a ‘blood-filled regime’.
They also called for the immediate sack of security chiefs and equally complained that the Buhari regime stuck its rank and file of ministers in the security cadre with Muslims.
They made several allegations but in this new video, the President’s spokesman gives a new side to the entire story.
Relax with your best drink and snack as you watch Mr. Femi Adesina reacts to all the allegations.
