What My Mum told me about Ogogo & Iyabo Ojo before she passed away–Ara @ Mum’s Wake Keep (Part 1)

THURSDAY 30th of December, Year 2021, children and esteemed families, well-wishers gathered to celebrate the life and times of late ALHAJA NUSIRAT VICTORIA OLAMUYIWA who passed away on December on Tuesday, December 28th, 20121.

Alhaja Nusirat Olamuyiwa (nee Fabiyi) was born to the family of Late Pa Joseph Fabiyi and late Princess Esther Idowu Fabiyi (nee Faseun) a direct descendant of the Alaafin Atiba , Alaafin of Oyo.

She schooled in Ondo state and later worked with the Federal ministry of works and Housing before going into general merchandize.

She was married to late Alhaji Hameed Oluwemimo Olamuyiwa who was a seasoned and well respected banker with the United Bank for Africa (UBA).

He was the first branch manager of UBA, Effurun branch ,Warri Delta State (South South Nigeria).

She is survived by many Children, grand children and great grand children.

She is the mother of the famous and first African Female Talking Drummer, ARALOLA OLAMUYIWA aka ARA.
