REV. FR. THADDEUS OKAFOR aka Nwachinemere 1 is a distinguished priest of the Catholic Church. He has been in the ministry for a straight twenty years after his seventeen years ecclesiastical training in the seminary.

On Monday July 19, 2021, the very respected clergy celebrated his 20th Year Anniversary with parishioners, friends and well wishers.

The next day, Tuesday 20th, he opened the door of his humble office at S.S. Joachim and Anne Parish, Meiran, Lagos to the Asabe Afrika TV team as he told us the full story of his sojourn into the priesthood of Christ Jesus.

The Reverend Father who was commissioned under the Lagos Arch Diocese since year 2002 has gracefully ran iconic parishes like St. Michael, Lafiaji, St. Mary, Ajegunle, St. Peter’s Ejigbo and St Catherine, Alakuko before his present position as Parish Head, S.S. Joachim and Anne which has two sister churches, St. Livinus & Immaculate Heart under her pastorate.

Father Okafor is an advanced Bible enthusiast, church growth expert and self development Christianity leader.

In this final video of his exclusive interview with Asabe Afrika TV, he spoke on reasons why the Catholic Church does not force her congregants to pay tithes and other reasons why Catholic is a different church.

He equally have a word for political leaders and the youths.
