The Internationally renowned Publisher, Publicist and Political Strategist of over 5 decades spoke to us on why he predicted victory for All Progressive Congress (APC) National Leader, Chief Bola Tinubu last year October and how he felt after Tinubu was declared winner of the Saturday February 25th Nigerian Presidential election.
The Basorun Musulumi of Iwo land was former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN) under President Shehu Shagari during the Second Republic.
During the 4th Republic, the Iwo Osun State born elder statesman was the Tactical Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party’s Electoral Committee in Osun State and his political sagacity facilitated many political solutions across the nation especially under the regime of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Chief Ogundokun defended Tinubu’s short term reforms by sacking Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele and Economic and Financial Crime Commission Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
Despite humongous electoral infractions and disputes at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal against Bola Tinubu’s victory by Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Gregory Obi and People’s Democratic Party’s Candidate Atiku Abubakar, Chief Abiola Ogundokun who once worked for late General Sani Abacha’s regime in the Diapora want Nigerians home and abroad to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the right choice to lead Nigeria.
He marshalled his points one-by-one in this red exclusive with Asabe Afrika TV in a two-hours-no-hold-barred encounter.

Obasanjo and Asabe are on the same page, Asabe has been going around with his media pulling Tinubu down in his support for Obi,but let Asabe continue in his fruitless broadcasting against Asiwaju, he will failed, everytime he keeps talking about bullion van, but does Asabe money lost and they said Tinubu stole it? Asabe is very biased with his interview, this is unprofessional, as a journalist you should be neutral and equally not being biased in opinions, you don't have to force your opinion on your interviewer, you believe in peter obi and most people believe in Tinubu that's why he won, how many state did peter obi won in the core north where majority of the votes comes from for him to claim victory.
