In this new exclusive, veteran seer and traditional medicine expert, His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Augustine Bola Adegunloye the Egbeji Oloogun of Nigeria revealed reasons why politically appointed Yoruba Obas are being ridiculed by politicians.
He told us what it means for an Oba not to be chosen by the Oracle but by the political lords in the country.
The very gifted seer who predicted the fall of Adams Oshiomhole and victory of Governor Godwin Obaseki in the recent September 19, 2020 gubernatorial election in Edo State used the recent social humiliation given to the Ooni of Ile-Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Ojaja II, Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi by former Lagos State Governor and a leader in the ruling All Progressive Party (APC) Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a case study.
The later allegedly ridiculed the former when he attended the inauguration of new Oniru of Iru land, one Oba Gbolahan Lawal.
In the well circulated video which drew the ire of many sons and daughters of Yoruba land home and abroad, Bola Tinubu was seen sitting (with his alleged puppet Oba Oniru) as the Ooni of Ife came in, and though the Ooni bowed down to greet Tinubu, the later sat greeting Ooni with a clipped finger gesture.
The highly respected seer also spoke on the controversial Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi aka Telu 1 and why he keeps misbehaving.
