IMAM SHAKUR ISMAIL AYUB is a gifted Islamic Scholar and Preacher of the Word. He is the DAARU L BIRRI (Islamic Scholar) of Atan Ota, Ogun State, South West Nigeria.

In this exclusive encounter with Asabe Afrika TV on Tuesday, January 15, 2022, the Islamic scholar and teacher gave a passionate advice to national leader of Nigeria’s ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu to desist from his presidential ambition due to health challenges and retire into private life and become an elder statesman.

The gifted Quran teacher who have given lectures in several forum warned the APC presidential aspirant to be wary of the spiritual demands and implication of a leader. He hinted that no leadership authority on earth will go without being questioned by God Almighty on the Last Day.

He sited several Quranic verses to back up his teachings and warnings to the former Lagos State Governor, former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and those encouraging him to vie for the post of president of Nigeria despite his old age.

  4. Tinubu does not need to quit his presidential ambition, why? If he wins 👍 good if he loses he goes back to burdillion period! Several people are contesting let people have choices who dey will vote 4…! If the gullible Nigerians decided to ignore supposedly a more qualified person 🙄 and vote 4 a not seriously but capable or a completely uncapable candidate let everyone exercise their franchise. We are all enjoying afterall the current leadership we voted in!     H I have not seen the Northern people condemning their leaders not to go for elective post .

There’s hope for Nigeria if we still have oriole like this man, who hasn’t sold good integrity for a bag of rice- like the sycophants pushing Tinubu on, with his laughable presidential aspirations. Tinubu and the obas that are refusing to give him sound advice is an embarrassment to Yoruba land. Of all the notable visionaries from the SW, it’s an unhealthy Tinubu that’s the best we can offer?
