PASTOR DAYO THOMAS is a man of many parts and a committed Nigerian patriot.

A Media Business Guru by training and historian by inclination, he is one of the few minds who can dissect the Nigerian Media Sector & The Christian community without a task of thought as he is a practitioner of over three decades and equally an ethical enthusiast.

Pastor Dayo Thomas who has worked with several media organizations like PUNCH, THISDAY, The Week Magazine among several others was former Director General, Gbemisola Saraki Governorship Campaign Team, Kwara State; Director General, Aisha Audu 2011 Governorship Campaign, Kogi State, Member, Jimi Agbaje Governorship Campaign Team, Lagos State and Member, Babatunde Raji Fashola Media Team, Lagos among several other high profile commitments.

He equally worked as legislative aide to former Nigerian Senate President, Senator David Mark and many other political leaders in the 7th and 8th assembly.

The Ponyan, Kogi State born Media Guru equally ran The Exclusive Magazine, a media establishment that was speculated to have been sponsored by the late controversial Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN).

In this second series of his exclusive encounter with Asabe Afrika TV during a chanced visit, he spoke on the state of the church in the Nigerian system and why a drastic spiritual reorientation drive is needed to save the Christian church from her free fall.

  2. Pastor, I hope you get some surplus money in your account somewhere.

    Although we are happy to know that God still has many who have not soiled their hands and their garments – the few remnants who are willing to look at these wolves in sheep's clothing in their eyes and say to them "repent from your errors, and stop troubling the children of God"

    The fact remains some of these diabolical daddy G.Os know the politicians and the police, they also control and shape the press.

    They use the press to launder their images, and they set the agenda for our brown envelop journalists.

    The huge tithe money is there to their advantage.

    They use their members' tithes and offerings conttibuted by pepper sellers to pursue needless legal suits against anyone who wants to open the eyes of their captives.

  4. Mr. Asabe, we’ll done, but please be professional and refrain from mentioning people’s name or their children. Keep it neutral with your examples. You are displaying self righteousness the way you bring up other pastors, and self righteousness in itself is a big issue within the body of Christ. Your line of questioning was leading your guest, and I am glad he ignored you. He focused on the issues not the persons. He responded directly about TB Joshua, perhaps because he had a direct relationship with him, but do you seriously expect him to criticize the other GOs by hear say only? STOP INCITING AND FOCUS ON ISSUES WITHIN THE CHIRCH NOT ON PERSONALITIES.

  8. This pastor is a straightforward person, he presented his facts based on his relationship with TB Joshua. How could you judge another person based on hearsay? He avoids talking about other pastors Asabe was mentioning because he has no close relationship with them as TB Joshua. He is a true journalist and demonstrated the skills.

  10. Asabe kindly conduct your investigation properly before speaking bad about some churches GO's. For example, you mentioned fall down and die church, where the G.O. annointed women private part while conducting deliverance. This is false in whatever way you express this just to destroy the personality of the man. Reason why the pastor interviewed ignored your question. You need to come out with your fact before laying accusation on the man of God. Though I like your programme but you specifically hates some pastors. God is love.

  11. Why will you say they are looting the money because probably that was how the money came in, so for that they should loot the, Church money? You are now assuming not what you actually know. Do you expect TB Joshua not to have money with that kind of congregation?
    The disciples were employed to work there is no way Evelyn can take instructions from any of the late husbands workers.

  32. Asabe, you are doing a great job, may God continue to protect and bless you.
    Asabe, i have little advice for you but please do not take my advice as an insult, is not an insult and I will never insult you because you are a Great father and greater will you remain.
    Please Sir when you are talking to your client or viewers, try as much as possible to be little calm in your body language when talking, let your mount do the talking while your body language is little calm. For example, if you watch the begining of this your video when you were talking to mr dayo and the same time asking him question, you were moving too much on your chair, your body language is heavily louder and your hands were all over, you were heavily noding your head. Mr Dayo body language was always calm when talking, the body language is not too loud.
    Please Sir, you must not tear yourself before we know you are been tourched by your client story. Most times you always shaking your head unstopable when camera is on you.
    Remember that you are the boss in your interview and you must not be too loud in your body language, just seat and relax humbling and listen to your client while they are talking and always tell your client to face the viewers or camera when talking because they are there to let the whole world know their stories, they should stop facing you always while talking, as if they are talking to their friend in their bedroom. The only time they supposed to face you is when you are asking them questions.
