2023 Election: What I will Tell Tinubu if he visits my house = Gen. Jemibewon

In this Red Exclusive with Asabe Afrika TV inside his Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Northern Nigeria home, retired Major General DAVID MEDAYESE JEMIBEWON (CFR, Mni) an elder statesman and former Governor of Old Western State of Nigeria under late General Murthala Mohammed’s regime between August 1975 and March 1976, and first Military Administrator of old Oyo State under General Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) from 1976 to 1979 spoke on the political ambition of former Lagos State Governor and national leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu to rule Nigeria in Year 2023 and why it might be a tough task for the aged and allegedly worn out politician to become Nigeria’s leader.

Jemibewon, a former Police Affairs Minister under President Olusegun Obasanjo’s civilian regime said although he is ready to host the politician in his home if the need arises but that will not stop him for telling him the honest truth about leadership and ambition.

The Iyah-Gbede, Kogi State born Army top brass and former Adjutant General of the Nigerian Army and one of the founding fathers of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP (He drafted some of the legal documents of the party as a lawyer) took a cursory look at candidate Bola Tinubu, candidate Yemi Osinbajo, candidate Omoyele Sowore, candidate Akinwunmi Adesina, candidate Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and passed his verdict on the best choice to lead Nigeria in Year 2023 after the rule of President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR).

General Jemibewon, soldier, lawyer, author and politician has a strong message for Chief Bola Tinubu concerning his 2023 ambition.

  9. I am Yoruba but I can assure you that Bola Tinubu will not be President. If you read between the lines, & using your intuition (what Yorubas call “oju inu”), this Gen has already told you that it will not happen. You will find out very soon that the North are master chess players in the game of politics. You will find out very soon.

  15. Age has sadly set in on pro OBJ, GDJ on less than two short years – it's so clear to see. General Jemibewon is right on the two issues but he is NOT an electoral power block. What election has he himself ever won? Or which candidate has he himself ever sponsored to win? Describing GDJ as a power block is ridiculous. Also, what prayer or laying hand on Tinubu can general Jemibewon do? He answered the question succinctly himself. As for Asiwaju, Akinwumi and VP Osinbajo, we've told you repeatedly that he WON'T be president in 2023 or ever. He won't as our prophecies have declared repeatedly. It is a disgrace for you to be mentioning Sowore as a possible president of NGR. Come on! 2023 is ALREADY DECIDED in providence. The president of NGR 2023 to 2031 is NOT of Yoruba extraction. Neither is he Hausa, Fulani or of core Igbo extraction. Take it or leave it. We've broadcasted his name repeatedly even though he hasn't today come out to express interest in becoming president.

  26. So good to see General Jemibewon. He was an action governor of the then western state in 1975. He paid two unscheduled visits from Ibadan to my school in Iwo in his short tenure and entered my class on both occasions. When he entered tall and big as he is, I was startled. He didn't just sit in office but actually went out to see things for himself. God bless you sir with good health and length of days. Aeon governor ni yi and Uncle Bola I've too
