This Weekend, their school, ELIAS INTERNATIONAL will celebrate 30 years of existence (Since 1989) and the celebration is themed “Thriving @ Thirty” with a valedictory and prize giving ceremony.
The Story of Engineer (Dr.) E.O. and Mama E.B. Dosunmu is like the proverbial fairy tale of enterprise built on resilience and innovation. In other clime, their story would have merit a blockbuster movie and probably earned series of reviews.
In thirty years, the school have gone through thick and thin but not without the attendant strides of success and fulfillment. The school which started with 7 students and two teachers sometimes in 1989 has today produced great people including Sunmisola Ajibola, first female to be an airline captain in Nigeria.
We sat with the elder statesman and his wife recently as they shared the experience of running a strict all-inclusive academic institution with us.
It is a story of courage, focus and innovation.
