Kalu Laments Abduction of Sun DMD’S Wife

condemned the abduction of the wife of the Sun Deputy Managing Director, Mrs.
Toyin Nwosu describing the act as evil.
 
The heavily armed gang, which stormed Nwosu’s Ago Palace Way,
Okota home in the wee hours of Monday, robbed the family members of some
valuables before abducting their victim and escaping to an unknown destination
through the canal.

In a statement issued by his media team and made available to the
press on Tuesday, Kalu said, “the armed robbery attack on the home of Mr. Nwosu
and subsequent abduction of his wife, Toyin is unfortunate and disturbing. The
journalist and his family members live a modest life and are law abiding
citizens of the country and as such don’t deserve this dreadful
treatment”.

The former governor urged the perpetrators of all these criminal
acts to have a rethink and ensure the safe release of the innocent mother of
four. 
While maintaining optimism in the efforts of the security agencies
in the fight against kidnapping and terrorism in the country, he appealed to
them to strengthen security especially on the waterways to prevent future
occurrence.
The business mogul also urged everyone to remember the Nwosu
family in prayers at this trying time.
