House is allergic to a society filled with disgruntled youths and
disillusioned crowd of women. Therefore,
her initial project is to train those who have acquired skills on how to manage
their businesses to maximize profit through improved technical know-how. To
this extent, Mrs. Rashida Bello is
said to have assembled a team of poverty alleviation experts who will put many
of the beneficiaries on the path line of self discovery and professional
technical know-how for total eradication of poverty in the land.

has equally embarked on the renovation of primary health care centers in the 3
Senatorial Zones of the state in order to alleviate the suffering of women and
children in rural communities in Kogi.
One of the primary gestures of this initiative is to eradicate mother &
child mortality in the state thereby creating an affordable but quality medical
solution atmosphere for the people of the state. The renovated centers are
located in the 3 Senatorial zones of the state.

The flag off of the program under Mrs. Rashida Bello’s NGO—Kogi Women and Youth Empowerment
Foundation (KOWYEF) will be launched this coming Saturday 12th
of March, 2016. The program which seeks to alleviate poverty among many other
objectives will in addition give skills acquisition, financial empowerment
(Cash grant) and donation of equipments like Hair Dressing Machine, Sewing
Machines and other accessories to the beneficiaries. This is to enhance
their economic activities and empower them for a better life ever.

The commissioning of the Health Care Centers will take place

babies’ homes while a free book distribution exercise to schools in the visited
