When PA FAKUNLE AKINOLA FRANCIS AJAO clocked 80 recently, little did he know that his 10 Years old granddaughter, Ifeoluwa will take him on and ask some pertinent questions that has to do with his life as a teacher, an electrician and a farmer.
At 80, Pa Fakunle Ajao has seen it all, the Iragbiji, Osun State (South Western Nigeria) born Octogenarian completed his Standard Six certificate in 1956 and later enrolled at Modern School in in 1959 and completed his studies in 1962.
Between 1963 and 1965, Pa Fakunle studied electrical craftsmanship and worked at various sites as an electrician.
By 1976, the Baale Ile Oluawo of Iragbiji land upped the ante as he enrolled for Teacher’s training in Ede, Osun State and by 1978 he got a certificate of education as a teacher.
By the time the Balogun Ijo of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Iragbiji retired from teaching in year 1996, he was ready for farming.
He relocated to Edo State where he became a full time Cocoa Farmer.
On his 80th birthday, the elder statesman had more to say and his granddaughter wanted to know more. The old man granted her the pleasure to know.
