In yet another exclusive encounter with Asabe Afrika TV, early in the week, COMRADE ADEOLA SAMUEL ILORI, National Coordinator, ALL ELECTRICITY CONSUMER PROTECTION FORUM, an Non Governmental Organization that arbitrate between consumers and service providers in the Nigerian power and electricity sector spoke on the recent September 1st, 2020 obnoxious increment of electricity bill for Nigerians across board after the Nigerian Electricity Regulation Commission (NERC) have earlier denied such plan.
The increment was quite on the high side as many Nigerians who are still smarting from the Covid 19 pandemic post-lock-down economic dilemma saw the situation as a kill-and-go decision by the democratic government of Nigeria.
