Surprised that the doctor could speak like that. Blood glucose testiing machine (glucometer) or any medical equipment with error result could mean the result of the test is too low or too high or battery faulty or any other faulty issue, thus, applicable further medical diagnostic test is required as well as technical care of the equipment in use.
