In this new video, I used recent events of youths restiveness in some Lagos communities like Meiran, Ijaiye, Dalemo, Alakuko and other far flung areas in Lagos to look at the lethargic reaction of security agencies, especially the Nigeria Police Force to arrest such incessant misconducts.
The way and manner some police formations, especially MEIRAN POLICE STATION handles such security threats from erring youths is worrisome.
On Wednesday April 14, 2021, some youths in Ijaiye area allegedly went on rampage ransacking shops, looting and maiming peace loving citizens.
Some analysts like an Ojokoro LCDA Chairmanship aspirant, Kolajo Omisore want to believe that the Police are only reacting to the mass rejection by youths and other Nigerians during the ENDSARS Protest in Lagos.
However, his opinion might not fly as the code of conduct for Police officers is to nip criminal activities in the bud.
