Ikere Development Forum meets, Hosts Monarch

Ikere Development Forum, a socio-economic think-tank group for the
development of the ancient town of Ikere-Ekiti will host a reception in honour
of the new Traditional Ruler of the town, His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adejimi
Adu, Agirilila , Ogbenuotesoro II, the Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom and
  members of his Council of
Chiefs on Saturday July 9th, 2016 in Lagos.

The reception which will also bring eminent sons and daughters of
the town under the leadership of IDF National President, Chief Wole Olanipekun,
SAN will hold at the Sheba Event Centre, Bank-Anthony Way, Ikeja by 1pm.
Oba Adejimi Adu who has just clocked one year on the throne of his
forebears is expected to brief IDF members during the Interactive Session the
state of development programmes in the town and how human and materials
resources from the indigenes can be further harnessed for the benefits of the
people.
Speaking on the Lagos Interactive event with the First Class
Ruler, National Secretary of the IDF, Professor Dele Olowokudejo noted that the
session will afford many indigenes within and outside Lagos who have not met
the new King to meet him and share insights and experiences with him.
“We are very happy that our King is coming to Lagos to meet his
subjects. This is a great opportunity Ikere Development Forum has provided to
bring our kith and kin in Lagos and environment together to deliberate on
programmes that will advance the progress of our hometown. Our people will also
have the chance to ask the King who has just spent one year on the throne
direct questions and how they can contribute to the progress back home,” he
said.
