Senate President Saraki’s Chief Photographer, Tope Brown adds a year

As Nigerians
were getting off the mood of the grand celebration of Juju Music icon turned Evangelist (Professor) Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi
(MFR) on Monday 3rd, the office of the Senate President of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Bukola Saraki came alive on
Tuesday June 4 (Yesterday) as one of his dependable officers and Chief
Photographer, Tope Brown Olowoyeye added a year. The event was marked with
prayers and little celebration among members of the senate leader’s media team
and other junior staffs of the chambers.

others to wish Mr. Brown a happy birthday
was the Special Adviser to the Senate President on Public Affairs and immediate
past Ogun State Commissioner for
Information & Strategy, Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu.

However, for
many, it was a very surprising act of humility as the Nigeria’s No 3 citizen
left his very busy schedule to celebrate with the very gifted photo journalist
of over two decades, giving him all the morale supports he desire on such a
rare occasion. Tope, according to
close sources was not only humbled but was totally overwhelmed and grateful for
the humble gesture extended to him by his busy boss.

Tope Brown, a very effervescent fellow formerly
works as the Northern Photo Editor cum Bureau Chief for Africa’s number 1
Celebrity Magazine, Ovation International.  Until his appointment as Chief Photographer
to the Senate President two years ago, Tope
was famously known as ‘The King of Good Shots’.  He is very cheerful, versatile, spiky and
good-humored. He is the guy every other happy guy will like to be with—a child
of grace.
He is
happily married to Lady Beatrice Brown (Nee Emaike) an
accountant and mother of his two lovely kids, Opemipo and Oluwatobiloba.

The University of Lagos graduate of Mass
Communications loves epic pictorial assignments and once you get him one, he
rages on with his camera at the speed of a Lion, extending his energy in grabbing
thousand moods in millions of seconds.
Tope is a Yoruba born (Ilesa-Osun State)
but raised in the Northern part of Nigeria (Kaduna). He speaks impeccable
Hausa, and understands the culture and norms of Muslim families. He has
travelled to several countries of the world including America, France, Canada
and many others to capture events in his journalistic efforts.
