Amosun Hinges Success In Governance On Executive-Legislative Inter-Dependence

Gov. Ibikunle Amosun

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun says the success so
far recorded in all spheres of governance in the State is as a result of mutual
interdependence of all arms of Government particularly the Legislature.
Amosun, who was represented by the Secretary to the State
Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa stated this during the 13th
 Ayetoro Day celebration held
in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of the State.

He noted that a vibrant, peaceful and development oriented
legislature was pivotal to socio-economic development of any State, saying that
the State legislature ranked among the best in terms of people oriented
legislation.
Describing the State Legislature as partners in progress of his
rebuilding mission, the Governor reaffirmed the commitment of his
administration towards completing all ongoing road projects across the State.

The State helmsman also solicited for more support from the people
of Ayetoro to ensure the completion of all projects in the area and the
initiation of new ones, noting that infrastructural development remained a key
factor in the industrialization of the State.
He appreciated Ayetoro community, Yewa indigenes and the entire
people of the State for their unflinching support to his administration since
inception in 2011, promising that Government was committed to developing all
parts of the State.
Earlier in his remarks, the Speaker of the State House of
Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi said the yearly celebration was meant
to appreciate the efforts of the forbearers who had contributed tremendously to
the growth of the community, charging the indigenes of the town at home and in
diaspora to continue to contribute their quota to the development of the area
and the State in general.
Adekunbi
counseled the people to step up efforts towards promoting cultural values and
heritage, charging them to continue to support the Senator Ibikunle Amosun- led
administration to further implement more dividends of democracy to the people
of the State.
Speaking
earlier, the Transition Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, Hon. Olusola
Akinosi and Chairman, Planning Committee, Mr Mathew Adesiyan appreciated the
Governor for his urban and rural development initiatives which they noted had
changed the landscape of Ayetoro and the entire State, requesting for more
infrastructural projects for the benefit of the community.
