The Governor said the importance of an efficient
transportation system in the State economy could not be ignored, stating that
his administration would continue to ensure that the transport sector was
repositioned.
He noted that the maintenance and provision of
modern road infrastructure especially for the newly constructed Ogun Standard
roads would be given priority, adding that more innovative steps would be taken
to make the roads more functional.
 ‘’Our
Administration will continue to embark on the maintenance and provision of road
furniture especially for our newly constructed Ogun Standard Roads. We will
also introduce off-street parking. The aim is to discourage on-street parking
in Abeokuta and other major towns”.
Senator Amosun enjoined the people to cooperate and
support the Government as their welfare remains top priority of his
administration.
